Ghost Instrument with a Neutrik silentPLUG at the instrument and a right-angle 1/4" TS plug at the other end. Unplug without a pop, and keep the far end flat against the amp or pedalboard. Ultra low capacitance and Hi-Z rated. Hand-soldered and individually tested in our Los Angeles shop.
Why Capacitance Matters on an Instrument Cable
A passive pickup is a high-impedance source. On a long, high-capacitance cable the high frequencies roll off before the signal reaches the amp, which is the dull, veiled sound of a long run. Ultra low capacitance keeps the high frequencies intact.
Signal Flow
Ghost cable is directional. Signal runs from Side A to Side B, the way the arrow on the cable points. Side A is the silentPLUG that goes in your instrument. The silentPLUG is always on Side A.
