AES/EBU Digital Cables
True 110 ohm AES/EBU and SPDIF digital audio cables, built to your exact length in Los Angeles. Impedance-compliant construction for lossless, jitterless transmission well past 100 meters at quad sample rates.
A digital audio cable is not an analog cable with a different label. AES/EBU calls for a characteristic impedance of 110 ohms; running the signal down a cable that does not meet that spec causes reflections that show up as jitter and, on long runs, dropouts. Ghost builds to the specification with nickel-plated copper conductors and both a foil and a braided shield.
Choose XLR for AES/EBU, RCA or BNC for SPDIF, any length from short patches to long machine-room runs, plus braided sleeving and printed labels. The matte dark purple jacket makes digital runs identifiable at a glance in a shared loom.
