XLR Microphone Cables
Custom XLR microphone cables, cut to your exact length and hand-soldered in Los Angeles. Both Ghost balanced cables terminate in XLR: the Analog cable for microphone and line-level work where the priority is ultra-low capacitance and uncoloured transient detail, and the 110 ohm Analog/Digital cable where you need foil-plus-braid double shielding and true AES compliance from the same connector.
Every cable is built to order. Choose the length, the connector on each end, black or grey jacket at no extra cost, and optional braided sleeving or a printed label. Typical lead time is 4 to 5 business days plus shipping, and every cable carries a lifetime warranty against parts and craftsmanship.
Which one do I want?
- Recording microphones, running line level, patching outboard - Ghost Analog. The lowest capacitance geometry, which is what protects the top end and the transient attack on ribbon mics, vintage condensers and passive output stages.
- Feeding converters and clocks, or working in a dense rack - Ghost Analog/Digital. True 110 ohm, double shielded, and still fully usable as a balanced analog cable when you need the shielding more than the capacitance.
